About

Our mission statement: To promote the study and appreciation of Eastern European and Eurasian cultures by publishing outstanding student work.

The Troika is an undergraduate journal in Eastern European, Eurasian, and Slavic Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. It was founded in 2010, and the first issue was published in Spring 2011. The journal features outstanding undergraduate work from colleges and universities worldwide. This includes academic research papers, memoirs, creative writing, translations, and photography.

This publication is made possible by support from the Institute of Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies at the University of California, Berkeley, with funding from the U.S. Department of Education Title VI National Resource Centers program. We are also an ASUC sponsored organization.
